Everlastly is dedicated to helping reduce the environmental impact of product purchases by encouraging the more thoughtful behavior by the companies that manufacture those products.  Therefore Everlastly strives to behave in a similarly conscientious way. Transparency is important in manufacturing and in our business as well, so when it comes to privacy, we want to ensure that  you remain in control of your own information at all times.

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for the Everlastly website (Everlastly.com).

INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE, AND SHARING

We do NOT sell your contact information (such as your name, phone number, and email address) to anyone without your consent.

We will not share any personally identifiable information with any third party outside of our organization without your consent, other than as necessary to fulfill a purchase order, request or inquiry from you.

Like most e-commerce sites, we see the gifts you select and the purchases you make through Everlastly associated with your email address. We may use your purchasing history and personal information to improve and personalize your experience, better match the selection of products we offer to the type of products you and other Everlastly users prefer, otherwise improve the Everlastly platform, serve you to the best of our ability and/or to respond to you regarding a reason you have contacted us.

We also collect aggregate, data on the overall usage of the Everlastly website (for example, total clicks on particular features, or total clicks on a particular Everlastly-reviewed company, overall dollars directed to brands that are manufacturing products with a lower environmental footprint, etc.) to demonstrate the impact the Everlastly community as a whole is making, and to help us learn what our user community may like most or not like very much about the products we carry so we can make them better. 

We also collect aggregate, anonymized data on overall website usage including metrics like which business categories, features, and buttons on our website are being clicked on, and what search terms are being searched for on our website (again this data is not collected in a way that can identify you individually), so we can continue to improve our products and make sure we are adapting to the preferences of our user community. We also see generalized data on our overall user community’s basic demographic information (such as age and gender).

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email or other channels in the future to tell you about upcoming events and activities, new products or services, or other matters. We hope these messages are useful and interesting. However, you may opt out of any future contact from us at any time.

REGISTRATION

In order to use all features of the Everlastly website, a user may need to create an account on Everlastly. The features that require registration are only those that are specific to each user and therefore necessarily must have a personal sign in, such as a personal profile page, ratings of products (we require sign-in to rate products because we don’t want anonymous product ratings, as they tend to be less helpful and less accurate, and are more likely to be spam, be vulgar, or otherwise not be useful ratings) and earning discounts (we need to know it’s you that got the discount you may have earned). During registration, a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address), or register through a social media site such as Facebook. Third-party social media platforms such as Facebook require different and specific information when you login through their platform. Though we specify clearly what information is being used from your social media profiles, the privacy policies of the third party governs the specific data transactions in those instances. The information provided during registration may be used to contact you. Again, you can always opt out of any contact by emailing info@Everlastly.com.

SECURITY

We take security seriously and work hard to protect your information. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. By using the Everlastly website you acknowledge that online activity inherently puts individuals at risk of hackers and other security breaches, and you agree that you are using our services at your own risk.

Only employees who need your information to perform a specific job (for example, customer service or data management) will be granted access to personally identifiable information. All other staff members can only access your data in an anonymized internal format (for example, your passwords and private login information are internally encrypted so as to assure maximum privacy).

CHILDREN

Everlastly is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

The Everlastly website may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those or any other sites.
